In Memoriam

This page is devoted to the loved ones that we have lost. Although they are gone, they are never far from our thoughts.

Harvey Allen Ostermiller "The Chief"

September 17, 1934 - August 10, 2006

Until we meet again, Dad. Love you forever.

Hail to Our Chief by Linda Ostermiller Mills

Hail to our Chief- Today makes it one year,

Since we said goodbye. I wish you were here.

I grieve and I miss you, Your laughter, your voice.

Your time to go, It wasn't my choice.

Your job here was done, Your purpose fulfilled.

Your eyes closed so gently, A million tears spilled.

Go home to the Lord, He's waiting for you, Chief.

He's called you by name, and I'm left in my grief.

Now you live in my heart, and in my memory and love.

No more oxygen machine, Dad, You're with the father above.

I kissed your face as I said goodbye,

Hard to believe a whole year since you died.

I love and will miss you, Year after year after year,

If I had a wish, It would be that you're here.

We'll see you again, Chief, As the Lord calls us by name,

We'll join you in Heaven, Together again.

Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4
